1 - General Information

• This website is operated by Illuminous Solutions Ltd, a family run electrical services company based in Fife. 
• We offer electrical services to domestic, commercial and industrial clients in Fife and surrounding areas. 
• All services are provided by fully qualified and insured electricians, and certified where required by law. 

2 - Service & Appointments

• All work is subject to availability and will be scheduled as soon as reasonably possible. 
• Emergency call outs will be prioritised and attended to based on availability and location. 
• Estimated are provided free of charge and valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. 
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if we believe the conditions on site are unsafe or unsuitable for the work.

3 - Pricing & Payment

• Prices are agreed in advance or charged at our standard hourly rate/emergency rates, as listed on the website. 
• Basic Rate: £35 Per Electrician
• Emergency Rate - Fife: £45 for the first hour, then £37.50 per hour thereafter.
• Emergency Rate - Surrounding areas: £65 for the first hour, then £37.50 per hour thereafter. 
• Additional charges may apply if a second electrician is required (£30 per hour). 
• Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. 
• We accept payment via bank transfer or cash. 

4 - Cancellations & Missed Appointments

• Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. 
• Missed appointments without notice may incur a call out charge. 
• Emergency call out fees are non-refundable once we have arrived on site. 

5 - Warranty & Liability

• All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months unless otherwise agreed. 
• Manufacturer warranties apply to all installed products, subject to their terms. 
• We are not liable for faults caused by misuse, third-party interference, or failure to follow safety advice. 
• We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss due to electrical failure or delays. 

6 - Access & Permissions

• Clients are responsible for providing safe and clear access to the property. 
• For tenanted or managed properties, appropriate permissions must be in place prior to work commencing. 
• Any delays caused by lack of access may be chargeable. 

7 - Website Use

• All content on this website is the property of Illuminous Solutions Ltd and may not be copied or reproduced without permission. 
• We reserve the right to upgrade or change our website content and pricing at any time without prior notice. 

8 - Data Protection

• We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through contact forms or services booked will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 
• We do not share your data with third parties except as required to deliver our services or by law. 

9 - Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
